Strawberry Fields- brought to life by the combination of 3 sister casks. Each has the same utterly splendid un-peated spirit from Blair Athol distillery, soaked in first fill red wine oak every single day of it’s ten year maturation. Each cask was filled on the same day, and bottled on the same day. As always, our single malt is proudly offered to you free from colouring or chill-filtration at 50% ABV. Our rather gorgeous bottles are each filled and labelled by hand in small batches. These rare bottles are highly collectable but best savoured “in glass”.
WHY THE NAME - STRAWBERRY FIELDS?
This single malt is rich, unctuous, heady, aromatic, sweet and just dreamy… Pair that with the faint pink hue imparted by the first fill red wine cask and we rather think the name slips into place. The scent of fresh red berries meander out of the glass. An astounding whisky, best paired with an excellent record and an otherwise chilled out evening.
