This is an easy-sipping, sweet whisky distilled by Longmorn which produces whisky for the blended whisky market and is matured, stored and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. Gordon & MacPhail’s Elgin warehouse is close to Longmorn, allowing for cask maturation in the same microclimate as the distillation.
The labelling and bottling is retro making these bottles much in demand by collectors.
The whisky is matured in first-fill sherry hogshead and refill bourbon barrels and the golden colour is driven by the cask.
