2021 release from Highland based distillery Glenmorangie. The head of whisky creation at Glenmorangie; Dr. Bill Lumsden had experimented here with Cognac casks, it has been initially matured in ex-bourbon casks for at least eight years, before being finished in the Cognac casks for a further four years, and then bottled at 46% ABV creating a whisky with excellent body, depth and flavour.
