As a blender for 50 years the warehouses are where Billy really comes into his own. Working across our 16 warehouses holding casks dating back to the 1970’s, Billy has selected a limited parcel of casks to be released as the GlenAllachie 18yo. Bottled at 46%, the signature GlenAllachie rich, robust spirit; with its heather and butterscotch notes; is balanced by extra years in cask.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Intense Chestnut.
NOSE: Layers of heather honey, toffee and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel and dried sultanas.
TASTE: Bursting with fruit cake, butterscotch and wild Scottish honey, followed by layers of blackcurrant, almonds and soft oak spice on the finish.
