The First Cask label was a brand of independent bottlings of single malt and single grain Scotch whisky. It was owned and distributed by Direct Wines Ltd, and the casks and bottling were supplied by Signatory Vintage. It was introduced in 1992 and bottled intermittently for the next two decades.
This Macallan vintage was distilled on 9th July 1973 and bottled at 20 years old after maturation in a single oloroso sherry cask.
