Tomintoul Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is a rich and expressive Speyside single malt crafted by Master Distiller Robert Fleming. Initially matured in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks, the whisky is then married and finished in carefully selected Caribbean rum barrels, adding depth and complexity. It opens with fresh aromas of raspberry blossom, coconut, Parma violets and custard pastry, followed by a palate of muscovado sugar, iced buns, cinder toffee, lotus biscuit, nougat and coconut cream. The finish is smooth and lingering, with notes of butterscotch, chocolate éclairs and warming cake spice.
