The cask yielded only 290 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 55.4%
A medium bodied distillate with a sweet, light and grassy character. Fully matured in a Refill Hogshead to allow the elegant expression of apple orchard fruit.
Located in the heart of Speyside, this ‘classic’ Speysider was originally brought into our warehouse for re-racking before we tasted it and identified the full qualities the original cask was offering. Full of tropical fruit notes and sweet spice, this was easy decision to bottle this one as it was.
The tasting revealed green apples, golden syrup and honeysuckle.
