AULD GOONSY SAYS: Matured in a first fill European hogshead for 11 years and then finished in a first fill oloroso cask, that this Speyside malt is like a good old rich Clootie dumpling, covered in cream.

INFO: Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Cask Number 917. Filled 30/01/2009. Release 4. Limited to 203 bottles.

TASTING NOTES:

Appearance – Dark copper
Nose – Sherried spice, bramble pie with marzipan notes.
Palate – Mixed raisins, Christmas cake and nutmeg.
Finish – Warm finish of nectarines, marmalade and crème caramel
